Personal Background
Dr. Albers was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended the
University of North Carolina in Wilmington, NC and then Michigan State
University in East Lansing, Michigan where he was awarded a BA in English
with a minor in history. He went to Xavier University in Cincinnati,
Ohio for pre-med and received his medical degree from Ohio State University
in Columbus, Ohio. He went through his internship in pediatrics at Ohio
State University and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Southern
Illinois University School of Medicine. He then completed his fellowship
in pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital
through a Harvard Combined residency program. He enjoys gardening, music
and spending time with his wife Cindy and three children, Leah, Abigail
and Magdalyn.
